Return & Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with your potting mix. How a return works depends on the reason, so please read the section that applies to you.
Faulty, Damaged, or Wrong Item (within 30 days)
If your item is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, you have 30 days after receiving it to contact us. This applies even if the bag has been opened and used, as long as there is a genuine problem with the product.
Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us as soon as you notice an issue at care@formyplants.com. We will evaluate it and make it right with a replacement or refund, and we cover the full cost of return shipping.
Changed Your Mind (within 14 days)
If you simply changed your mind, you can return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification.
For this type of return, the bag must be unopened and in its original packaging, in the same condition you received it, with tags and proof of purchase. Because potting mix is a hygiene-sensitive product, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on opened bags.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always reach us with any return question at care@formyplants.com.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene reasons, opened or partially used bags of potting mix cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons (faulty items are always covered, see above). We also cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.
